Royal Vista Golf Club, Walnut, CA
The owners of this busy public golf course in Southern California needed help to increase overall food and beverage sales and specifically their market share of banquet business in the community. CHS was hired to assist them and ultimately developed a plan that increased profitability by over $500,000 in one year.
PHASE I – CHS analyzed the local banquet and a la carte business and developed a comprehensive study of what opportunities would be available for Royal Vista Golf Club to increase their market share. They researched the competition and completed a demographic and market analysis. The needs of the customers were identified and a plan was developed.
PHASE II – The next task was to develop a strategic plan to attract incremental banquet business. The current business was analyzed and a banquet booking pace report was implemented to project the openings and opportunities for the next 18 months.
In addition the current operating procedures were reviewed including financial reports. The physical plant and all staff members were evaluated to determine the ability to service the new business. A strategic plan was presented for implementation.
